Edición de «Myths and Legends of Forgottenland»

'''''Forgottenland''''' is the name outsiders gave to the vast borderlands between realities, the place where one world ends and another begins. It is not a dimension of its own, but the living threshold of existence itself: the boundary where every reality reaches its edge and the '''Offset''' begins, an empty void stretching beyond the limits of all things.

Every reality is a repeated world, a new instance of the same cosmic structure, yet none of them remain perfectly identical for long. Small differences slowly emerge between them, growing more noticeable the farther a reality drifts from the original one, which is supposedly our world. What begins as a near-copy can, with time, become something stranger, more distant, and far harder to recognize.

The inhabitants of these realities are known as '''Arduans''', and only they, alongside the gods, are aware that other realities exist. By crossing the Offset, they connect the Forgottenlands of distant worlds, sharing knowledge, preventing anomalies, and learning from the ruins of realities that have already fallen. In this way, destroyed worlds are not lost entirely: they become warnings, records, and weapons against collapse.

Those who live in Forgottenland are the keepers of its Great Library and the guardians of its accumulated wisdom. Through the knowledge preserved from countless realities, they have become the most intelligent and informed beings among the known worlds. Many dedicate their lives to gathering information, while the greatest among them — the '''Patriarchs''' — lead Forgottenland as the long-standing librarians of that immense archive.

But Forgottenland was not born as a paradise. Its oldest legend speaks of '''Tempo''', the first creation of God, whose earliest attempts at life left behind failed divine beings that were cast aside as aberrations. These creatures, neither human nor humanoid, were buried beneath a colossal layer of stardust by Sekhmet, only to survive by digging beneath the world and building a civilization of their own. From that hidden lineage came Terra, and from Terra came '''Kiva''', the protagonist of Chapter 1.
